Under Governor Wolf’s plan, it looks like the Pirates and Penguins are still weeks away from playing games as the region remains under the red phase of Governor Wolf’s reopening process.
According to Secretary of Health Dr. Rachael Levine, sports will not be allowed to continue in a county until it is given full clearance due to concerns related to Covid-19. That means a full transition to the green phase.
MLB and the NHL remain on pause, while high school and college sports in the state shut down for the season, and the Little League World Series announced its first-ever cancellation.
