State representative Jim Struzzi hosted a conference call with Congressman Glenn GT Thompson concerning Coronavirus issues with the dairy and agriculture industries.
Topics on the call ranged from the paycheck protection programs to disruptions in the supply chain for dairy products as closures of schools and some businesses have affected supplies and possibly those supplies going to waste. One concern that was raised was if pressure could be put on the USDA to make food available to the food banks. It was something that Congressman Thompson agreed with, saying they have already started that process.
