The Indiana School Board will meet once again in a virtual format tonight and will discuss applying for waivers from the department of education stemming from Covid-19.
On the proposed agenda for tonight, the board will be asked to approve a resolution from the buildings, grounds and transportation committee to file waivers for the 180 day requirement, school bus evacuation drills and fire drills for this school year due to the closures from the Coronavirus pandemic and mandated school shutdown.
The board will also be asked to approve all contracts for the high school life skills renovation and chair lift project. Contractors will be authorized to start work once they submit the safety plan and everything is approved by the local code inspector.
Also, the 2019-2020 graduation list is expected to be approved tonight.
