The 2020 NFL Draft wrapped up Saturday, and the Steelers took a running back, an offensive guard, a safety and a defensive tackle with their final four picks.
With their first pick in the fourth round, the Steelers selected Maryland running back Anthony McFarland. He started seven of 11 games played in 2019, with eight touchdowns on the ground (114 carries, 614 yards, 5.4 ypc) and one as a receiver (17 receptions, 126 yards, 7.4 average) despite a high-ankle sprain.
Later in the fourth round, the Steelers picked Kevin Dotson, a 6-4, 310-pound guard out of Louisiana-Lafayette.
The Steelers had no picks in the fifth round. They took Antoine Brooks Jr., a safety and teammate of McFarland’s at Maryland, with the 19th pick in the sixth round.
To wrap up the day, the Steelers drafted Carlos Davis, a 6-2, 315-pound defensive tackle at Nebraska, with the 18th pick of the seventh round.
On Friday night, the Steelers made their first two picks of the draft with wide receiver Chase Claypool (Notre Dame) in the second round and outside linebacker Alex Highsmith (Charlotte) in the third round.
