On Thursday, State Representative Jim Struzzi held a conference call with the citizens in his district and several county and state officials to talk about the Coronavirus situation.
Topics ranged from the number of cases reported in Indiana County to Coronavirus testing and when will restrictions be lifted. One of the big concerns were if some outdoor activities like golf will be allowed as a social distancing activity. Struzzi said that will be addressed soon in the state legislature.
Another topic brought up was if IRMC was in need of personal protection equipment. Dr. Pat Shannon of Indiana Regional Medical Center said that the hospital is in good shape, but they are always looking for more.
Struzzi added that anyone can call his office with questions related to the Coronavirus outbreak or any other state issue. You can log on to www.repstruzzi.com or you can call the Indiana office at 724-465-0220.
