The XFL’s second attempt may not last because of the Covid-19 Pandemic. After a conference call with their chief operating officer Jeffery Pollock, the XFL employees were notified that the league was suspending operations while the Covid-19 pandemic prevents the league from operating as normal. This comes weeks after the XFL suspended the rest of their season. With the season cancelled, some XFL stars have signed contracts with other teams. There is still a possibility that the league could return once the Covid-19 pandemic is no longer a concern.
