Steelers fans are being invited to vote on who gets into the team’s fourth Hall of Honor class. Nominations are being accepted at steelers.com, with votes accepted through next Friday, the 17th. To be eligible, players must have spent at least three seasons with the Steelers and must be retired for at least three years. Former coaches and contributors are also eligible.
Any Steeler in the NFL Hall of Fame is automatically enshrined in the team’s Hall of Honor, so you need not nominate Troy Polamalu, who will go in this year. There are some quite notable players, however, who could be considered, such as Heath Miller, Greg Lloyd, and four-time Super Bowl champs Jon Kolb, Gerry Mullins, Dwight White and Mike Wagner. Also not in yet: broadcasters Myron Cope and Jack Fleming.
