Indiana County emergency responders were busy again yesterday with a few incidents, including another brush fire that was reported in the county.
Cherry Tree and Glen Campbell Fire Departments along with Citizen’s Ambulance were called into Clearfield County to assist with a structure fire, with Rossiter, Commodore and Clymer fire departments called in later on. Commordore fire officials say it was a two-story house fire in Burnside Borough. No word yet if anyone was injured in that fire.
Coal Run/McIntyre fire department would be called out for a reported gas leak on 4th Street in Young Township at 10:27 AM.
The brush fire was reported at 3:44 PM, with Iselin and Coal Run fire departments called out to a property on Colt Lane in Young Township. This marks the 38th brush fire in Indiana County this year.
