A big show of goodwill during the covid-19 pandemic was made by some of the members of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Marcus Patterson, Bryan Rust and Zach Aston-Reese purchased 500 pizzas for some community distribution centers in the Pittsburgh region. The pizzas were delivered on Friday to areas of the Hill District and Pittsburgh’s North Side.
The personal pizzas went to kids who normally depend on schools and community pantries for meals.
