The IUP football and men’s and women’s basketball teams achieved in the best winning percentage among all Division I, II and III schools during the 2019 – 2020 fall and winter sports seasons.
The Crimson Hawks recorded a .904 winning percentage with 66 wins and only seven losses. The combined record included a 10-2 season in football, 28-2 in men’s basketball and 28-3 in women’s basketball. Baylor (Division I) was No. 2 at .878. The closest Division II school was West Texas A&M at .870, and the closest PSAC school was Shippensburg at .681, ranked 96th on the list.
