The matches were tight, but the Indiana boys golf team edged both Dubois and Ligonier Valley in a tri-meet. Indiana shot 203, Dubois 215 and LV 216. Indiana’s Will Steve was medalist with a 2-over 38. Chace Force was a stroke back at 39, with Beau Raykes at 41, Ryan Bell at 42, and Joe Mains and Mason Musser each shooting 43.
6-0 Indiana plays a Section match at Latrobe today.
The Indiana girls dropped their match at Plum by 22 strokes (220-242). Angelina Donatelli led the Indians with a 54, Lyla Pangonis shot 59, Ava McCombie 63, and Amelia Kellar 66.
Homer-Center outshot River Valley 200-244 at Chestnut Ridge, with the Wildcats tying the school record for lowest team score. Reece Coy fired a season-low even par 36 to earn medalist honors. Aiden Darr shot 39, Cole Sorber 41, and Jordy Arone and Noah Todd each came in at 42. For the Panthers, Brady Doak led with a 42, Noah Carnahan shot 49, Nate Beuten 50 and Hunter Baird 51 and Luke Rokicsak 52.
