Phyllis Mary Pandullo, born April 29, 1937, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 21, 2026.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Antonio Catanzarite and Elizabeth Zappia Catanzarite. Phyllis was a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her family. Her biggest joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and their families. She treasured every moment together and created a lifetime of memories that will remain in their hearts forever.
She is survived by her children, Dianna Laney, Angie Smith (Greg), Blairsville, and Melissa Irwin (Terry), Derry; brother, John Catanzarite (Patty), Derry; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and also numerous nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rudolph Pandullo Sr. in 1977; son, Rudolph Pandullo Jr, in 2016, son, Ricky and daughter, Pamela Pandullo both in 1966; great grandchildren, Hailee Pandullo and Kayleen Laney; brothers: Frank, Domenick, Rocci, and Anthony Catanzarite; sisters: Catherine Vizza, Antoinette (Kitty) Pratt and Sunta Brink and her son-in law, Butch Laney.
Phyllis had a special love for baking cakes for her family. Her homemade treats were made with love and became a wonderful part of family gatherings and celebrations. She also enjoyed crafts, camping at Bluegrass Festivals and the simple happiness of being outdoors and spending time with the people she loved. Phyllis will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, kindness, love, and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and treasured memories that will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and generations to come.
The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, Blairsville, PA on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 from 4-7 PM. A blessing service will be held at 7 PM in the funeral home with Fr. Philip White officiating. Interment will be in the SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Loyalhanna Care Center, 535 McFarland Road, Latrobe, PA 15650.
