Altoona lost the first eleven games of the season and finished the first half of the season with a record of 31-38, which put them fifth of the six teams in the Southwest Division. Richmond won the first half with a record of 43-25, seven games better than Erie and twelve-and-a-half games better than the Curve.
The second half starts tonight, with the records wiped clean and a fresh start for all teams. The Curve will take on the Reading Fightin’ Phils at PNG Field in Altoona tonight. Reading was 30-39 in the first half.
