Akron’s Jose Devers hit a solo home run in the eighth inning to break a 3-3 tie and give the RubberDucks a 4-3 win over Altoona.
Matt King had two hits and drove in two runs for the Curve and Duce Gourson had two hits and stole two bases, giving him twenty steals for the season.
The Curve will start a six-game home series with Reading tomorrow night.
