Unemployment in Pennsylvania fell three-tenths of a percentage point in November, to 5.7 percent. It was eight-tenths of a percentage point lower than it was a year ago.
Total non-farm jobs were up 13.5 percent over October, but only 2.6 percent over the rate last year, reflecting the number of seasonal jobs available for the holidays.
The Department of Labor & Industry will release the monthly county stats on December 28th.
