A new paving project gets underway tomorrow in Center Township. Milling and paving begins on Route 56 between the Route 119 intersection in Homer City and Route 954 near Coy’s Pizza. One-lane traffic will be controlled by flaggers. It’s a $4.9 million project that is scheduled to be completed by August 10th.
The same construction company doing that project is also working on a resurfacing project on West Pike Road through White Township at the YMCA to the Route 422 intersection in Armstrong Township. That, too, is a $4.9 million project, with the work being done each night between 8 PM and 6 AM. It began last week and should be completed by this coming Saturday.
