The Steelers’ players will report to St. Vincent College in Latrobe tomorrow. Yesterday the team worked out a couple of NFL veterans but they’ve not announced any signings yet. Fullback Tory Carter has played two seasons for the Tennessee Titans, appearing in 17 games with five starts. Defensive end Marquiss Spencer has been in the Broncos and Jets organizations and has played one NFL game.
The Steelers have announced another Bill Walsh Fellowship Program coach who will join the team for a portion of training camp. Jordan Pulou has spent the last two seasons as the defensive coordinator of Snow College in Utah. Steelers running back Jaylen Warren and former defensive end Brett Kiesel both played for that community college. The Walsh program is for developing minority high school and college coaches. Pulou is Polynesian. He is the third Walsh program coach to join the Steelers for training camp.

Packers’ quarterback Jordan Love is officially holding out. General manager Brian Gutekunst told the media yesterday that Love won’t practice during training camp as he seeks a new contract. He attended meetings and was a full participant during mandatory minicamp last month.
Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been cleared for contact as he returns from December surgery on his right wrist. The often-injured star will “probably” play some in the preseason, according to coach Zac Tayler. Meanwhile, team president Mike Brown said yesterday that wide receiver Jamar Chase won’t get a new contract this season.
