The Indiana 14U Junior League All-Stars keep rolling in the national tournament, earning two 11-1 wins over Tiverton and Bristol on Friday.
In game one against Bristol, Indiana scored six runs in the first, three of those coming on a home run by Rylee Mahaffey. They added two more in the sixth and three in the third while Mahaffey and Sam Martin combined for five innings of one-run ball. Kaitlyn Houser added a triple for Indiana, while Kaylee Cass and Maddie Twincheck each had a double.
Then, in the afternoon, Indiana grabbed four runs in the second inning and seven runs in the third on route to the win. Tenley Anderson drove in four runs on a pair of singles, while Houser added a double and two RBI. Cass went all five innings for Indiana in game two, striking out nine and allowing three hits and one run in the effort.
Indiana will face Talbot Junior League tomorrow at 11 AM.
