State police say a threat investigated this morning concerning the United School District was ruled unfounded.
Police were notified at 7:26 AM about the threat. Troopers worked directly with district administrators and school security officers to get more information and conduct interviews, and they were able to find the student that reportedly made the threat at the student’s home. United officials announced on the district’s Facebook page that the district was notified through a Safe2Say Something report and initiated a soft lockdown.
Troopers were able to learn and confirm that the student never made such a threat and the allegations were unfounded.
Troopers wanted to thank the United School District’s administrators and security officers for their help.
