The ICM All-Stars were nipped by West Point in the state 12U softball championship yesterday, 5-3.
ICM threatened in the sixth inning, loading the bases with their cleanup hitter at the plate, but a rain delay was called and it halted play for an hour-and-a-half before it was called for darkness.
ICM outscored opponents 61-16 over their run and their pitchers combined for 109 strikeouts. They finish second in the state.
