The IUP football and men’s basketball teams are both nationally ranked at this time in the top five in the nation.
The football team moved up to No. 4 in the AFCA Poll, after No. 2 Ferris State was upset by Ashland last week.
In the preseason Street and Smith Men’s Basketball Poll, Coach Joe Lombardi’s Crimson Hawks are ranked third, while juniors Cobo Diaz and Dante Lombardi are selected as honorable
mention All-Americans. Four starters return from last year’s 28-4 team.
