During the Blarisville Borough Council Meeting, Mayor Ronald Evanko expressed some concern that people were not getting proper permits for home construction projects.
Evanko said during the meeting that he is seeing construction projects, like roofing, going on for one day, but they do not have the proper permits for it. He said that having those permits is very important.
Evanko added that police and the code enforcement officer will be checking on the permits.
Also last night, the borough council approved consolidating four parcels for Shoemaker Funeral Home for the construction of a new crematorium.
