PSP-INDIANA
State police have released details on a crash in Saltsburg Borough that happened on the 4th of July. Troopers say the crash happened at 9:23 AM on Canal Street just east of Walnut Way. 63-year-old Joseph Dykes, Sr. of Saltsburg was driving Northwest on Canal Street when the car went off the southern side of the road and went into guide wires, rolling onto its passenger side. The car was disabled. While Dykes had suspected minor injuries, he refused medical treatment from Lifestat EMTs on-scene. Saltsburg Fire Department also assisted on scene.
State police are investigating a burglary that happened at a home in Brush Valley Township. Troopers say this happened between June 28th and July 1st, as someone took miscellaneous cleaning supplies and damaged a man’s door.
