Both state and federal law enforcement agencies spent the overnight hours at the Allegheny County home of 20-year-old Thomas Mathew Crooks, whom the FBI has identified as the man who shot and wounded former President Donald Trump and fatally shot one other person at a rally in Butler last evening. Two others suffered critical injuries and are being treated at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Trump suffered a wound to his right ear. Crooks, who was from Bethel Park, was shot and killed by federal agents – reportedly Secret Service – on the corrugated metal roof of a nearby building and the rifle he used was recovered.
