Altoona’s bullpen were able to notch seven strikeouts, but some errors allowed Bowie to score twice and take Friday night’s game 2-1.
Joe Perez scored the only run for the Curve, hitting an RBI Triple in the bottom of the 9th, but it was not enough to come back and win. Jaden Woods, Grant Ford, Ryan Borucki and JC Flowers notched seven strikeouts in a bullpen day.
The series continues today. Altoona has not yet named a starter.
