Indiana native Michael Ryan has led his team to another championship.
Last year his Bradenton team took home the honors and this year it’s the Altoona Curve as they completed a sweep of the Trenton Thunder with a 4-2 win last night in Altoona.
Ryan is quoted as saying “The hard work, the dedication, the brotherhood that you guys have built is unbelievable and second to none. You are champions for the rest of your lives. No one can take that away.”
Pitcher Mitch Keller was named the Eastern League postseason MVP after after 2-0 record and an E.R.A. of 1.10.
