Thomas Harrington dazzled again for Altoona last night, racking up a career-high 11 strikeouts in a 5-1 Curve win over Bowie. Harrington walked just two hitters and allowed one run and five hits over seven innings in the win.
Six Curve players recorded a hit in the game. Jase Bowen, Kervin Pichardo and Abrahan Gutierrez each contributed a double and an RBI.
Po-Yu Chen (3-7, 4.12 ERA) starts for Altoona in the third game of the series tonight.
