At a meeting Wednesday night, the Penns Manor School Board passed some motions to get ready for the new school year.
One of those was an update to the 2024-25 student handbook. Superintendent Daren Johnston said that the one big update had to do with elementary student attendance and being allowed to take part in after-school activities.
Johnston also said that prep was going on for the start of the school year and he wanted to thank the maintenance staff for their work as they are shorthanded at the moment.
The board was also reminded that the next negotiation session between the district and the Penns Manor Educational Support Professionals is set for July 16th.
