Millie E. (Nesbit) Huey, 83 of Indiana, formerly of Gipsy, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 8, 2024 at the Communities at Indian Haven. Born in Spangler, July 15, 1940, she was a daughter of the late James and Minnie Nesbit. Millie was the widow of Donald E, Huey, Sr. who died February 19, 2019.
Millie was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and community. She helped to raise her family working at home as a homemaker. She was a member of the Hillsdale Wesleyan Methodist Church where she had been an active parishioner for many years.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Donald A. Huey and wife, Angie, Indiana and Melissa C. Diaz and husband, Robert, Poland, OH. She loved and greatly enjoyed her grandchildren: Deanna (Huey) Miller and husband, Steve, New Castle; Jessica (Huey) Gallagher and husband, Jon, Indiana; Shane Huey and wife, Amanda, Jamestown, TN; Colton Diaz, Poland, OH; and Abbie Huey, Indiana. Millie also loved spending time with her twelve great-grandchildren.
Millie was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Service arrangements are private and are being handled by the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory of Indiana.
