Longtime Marion Center softball coach Ed Peterson passed away Saturday at the age of 62.
He eclipsed 205 wins in his 16-year career coaching the Stingers. Peterson was recognized by the Indiana County Sports Hall of Fame for his achievements.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Carson J. Boyer Funeral Home in Rural Valley.
