CUBS COMPLETE SWEEP OF PIRATES

The Cubs pummeled the Pirates Wednesday night, 17-3, pounding out 20 hits in the process, completing a three-game sweep.

Ivan Nova took the loss. Josh Bell homered.

The Pirates are idle today. They will host the Reds Friday.
