Last week, IUP’s founding dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine Dr. Miko Rose met with the Indiana Rotary.
On June 24, Rotary officials presented Rose with a pen expressing the club’s appreciation for her presentation. She was named the founding dean of the proposed college back in November following a nationwide search, and she was named a fellow of the American College of Neuropsychiatrists in May.
Before coming to IUP, Rose was an associate professor and Chief of the Division of Psychiatry in the department of clinical medicine at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College Osteopathic Medicine, and she was also the Assistant Dean for Clinical Education.
