State police have charged a Pittsburgh man with carrying a firearm without a license during an incident on November 26th in West Wheatfield Township.
Troopers say that a traffic stop was conducted on Route 22 east near Shady Grove Road. The investigating officers saw some suspected criminal activity and a consent search was conducted. Drug paraphernalia and a loaded 9mm handgun were found. It was also reported that the driver, identified as 22-year-old Amsa Sanneh, did not have a concealed carry permit for the gun.
Charges were filed through district judge Robert Bell’s office.
