Indiana borough council will meet tonight and amendments to the transient retail business ordinance are on the proposed agenda.
Back in May, council approved advertising the proposed changes to the ordinance to allow food trucks at IRMC Park on Mondays during the summer months. The council said that they wanted to hear comments from the community, including restaurant owners, on the proposed changes.
Also on the proposed agenda for tonight is the awarding of a contract for the South 15th Street Storm Project, advertising changes to the Zoning/SALDO ordinance, and appointing someone to the Shade Tree Commission as an alternate.
The meeting starts at 7:00 tonight at the borough’s temporary office at the Courthouse Annex on Water Street.
