The Altoona Curve fell to the Akron Rubber Ducks 4-2 at PNG Field yesterday.
Akron plated two runs in the second with RBI singles by Aaron Bracho and Joe Lampe and one in the third with a Dayan Hayas groundout RBI. Altoona clawed back to 3-2 with a two-run homer from Joe Perez, but Akron got their fourth run in the sixth with a Walk that forced a run home.
The Curve and the Rubber Ducks continue their series today, with Po-Yu Chen starting for Altoona tonight. Akron will send Parker Messick.
