The PIAA football championships are scheduled to be played this weekend. In 5A Penn Trafford will play Exeter tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Bald Eagle High School in Wingate.
Redbank Valley travels to North Hills in Pittsburgh for a 7 p.m. kickoff with Bishop Canevin in 1A- the winner of that game will take on the winner of the Canton-Bishop Guilfoyle game at Mansion Park in Altoona- the Mauraders figure to have home field advantage there for their 7 p.m. start.
In 4A Jersey Shore will play Aliquippa at Central Cambria High School in Ebensburg tonight at 7 p.m. too.
