The Penguins have announced their prospect camp dates next month. They’ll begin on Saturday, July 6th at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry. The Saturday, Sunday, and Monday sessions will start with on-ice goalie workouts and then the players will be split into three groups for an hour on the ice for each. The Tuesday session will be goalies followed by the entire group and then on Wednesday, July 10th, the camp concludes with a 4-on-4 scrimmage.
Among those expected to skate at the camp are former first-round draft picks Owen Pickering and Brayden Yager, second-rounder Tristan Broz, and two forwards acquired from Carolina in the Jake Guentzel trade, Ville Koivunen and Cruz Lucius.
All of the prospect camp sessions will be free and open to the public.
