Today is Black Friday, and while many retailers are open early to try to bring in customers with sales and deals, there are still some holiday closures in effect.
Federal government offices are open for today, but many state offices will be closed. This includes PennDOT’s Driver’s License and Photo Centers. They will reopen on Monday for their usual times. State liquor stores are open for business today. Many banks have reopened and there will be regular deliveries today through the US Postal Service, UPS and FedEx. Post offices will also be open for counter service today.
County offices and courts will also remain closed today to give employees some extra time during the holidays. They will reopen for normal business on Monday.
