The quiet holiday continued for Indiana County’s first responders on Thursday and into this morning.
Only two calls were reported by Indiana County 911 over the last 24 hours. The first call was for a fuel spill on South Ben Franklin Road in White Township at 2:58 this morning. Indiana Fire Association was dispatched for that incident.
The other call happened at 4:23 this morning as Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments were dispatched for an Automatic Fire Alarm activation in the Club Lane area of the Resort Plaza complex. Fire crews did an extensive search of the building and did find some electrical problems, but no fires to report of. Maintenance personnel were summoned to the scene to effect repairs.
