The Pennsylvania budget deadline is a little over a week away, and one of Indiana County’s legislators is not optimistic that the deadline will be met.
Earlier this week in Harrisburg, Senator Joe Pittman held a press conference outside his office at the Capitol building, and expressed his concerns about finishing the budget on-time, saying that while conversations between all parties involved have been cordial, the pace of discussions has him concerned. He said that the main objective is to make it clear to House Democrats and the Governor that they need to be on the same page.
The senate will return to session this Monday, but before he returns to Harrisburg, Senator Pittman will make an appearance on Indiana in the Morning at 9:45.
