Several plea and sentencing hearings are scheduled for this morning in Indiana County’s Court of Common Pleas, including one for a man charged with threatening the Homer-Center School District in 2023.
Court documents show that 19-year-old Spencer Baker of North Apollo faces one count of terroristic threats for an incident on September 7th of last year. State Police said at the time that several students notified high school principal Jody Rainey of a Snapchat video sent to an unnamed student that showed Baker holding a shotgun and indicating he was coming to the school. Troopers believe that he did not actually travel to the school, but he was found at his home and was taken into custody without incident.
Baker is expected to enter a plea connected with this case and will plead and be sentenced in a separate case where he faces charges related to an incident of DUI-controlled substance from June of 2023.
