FIRST RESPONDERS TENDING TO CRASH ALONG ROUTE 56 EAST

First responders were on the scene of a crash in Brush Valley Township.

Indiana County 911 dispatched Brush Valley firefighters, Citizens’ Ambulance and state police to Route 56 East near Ondo Road around 2 o’clock this afternoon for a single vehicle crash with reported injuries. Homer City firefighters were called in a short time later to assist.

Scanner reports say the car sheered a utility pole along the roadside. As of now, no power outages were reported and Penelec crews were called in to tend to the pole.
