A Blairsville woman accused of shooting her boyfriend in 2021 will be back in court today as arguments will be presented in relation to her case.
The proceedings are connected with 31-year-old Matraca Lynn Vrana who allegedly killed her 27-year-old boyfriend in an incident on September 10th of 2021 at a home on Barnview Circle. She allegedly fired the shot from a rifle, hitting him in the head.
In March, she entered a guilty plea to third-degree murder, and was scheduled to be sentenced on May 5th, but that hearing was continued as a request was put in to allow Vrana to withdraw her plea. That hearing will be held today in front of senior judge Katherine Emery.
