The United School Board will look to approve next year’s operating budget at tonight’s meeting.
Expenses come to $24,293,133, with revenues over a half-million less. The district will not raise property taxes, keeping them at 11.156 mills. The deficit will be filled by a transfer to the district’s general fund balance.
The board will also look to approve hiring a secondary school counselor and a director of technology. They also will approve the employment agreement between the district and its director of finance, Gerard Kalinyak.
The meeting will start at 7:30 at the district board room.
