A truck driver was ejected from his vehicle when it rolled onto its side Friday afternoon on Route 982 near Strawcutter Road in Derry Township, but he escaped injury. State police say the township dump truck loaded with stone was driven by 24-year-old Stone Kepple of Derry, who failed to negotiate a curve. Police say Kepple was not wearing a seat belt.
Police have not released the name of the driver who crashed into a house in the 500 block of West Fourth Avenue in Derry Borough yesterday afternoon and was flown from the scene by medical helicopter. The driver was a male. The gas company was called in to safely handle the utility after the accident.
