Indiana Borough Police have charged a man for an incident of prowling and loitering early Friday morning.
Police say that the incident was reported at 1:25 AM at 364 Water Street. Officers saw Douglas Hutchinson of Indiana loitering in a private yard. When police approached him, he was found to be in possession of a prohibited offensive weapon, seven bags of suspected heroin, small amounts of crack cocaine and crystal meth, along with a crack pipe.
Hutchinson resisted arrest as he was taken into custody and was taken to Indiana County Jail where he awaits his preliminary hearing.
