Indiana Borough Police have released details on three DUI-related incidents that happened in late April and early May.
Officers were dispatched to 600 Locust Street around 8:49 p.m. on April 18th for a report of an unresponsive driver. Upon arrival, police located Joshua Bradley of Indiana, who was allegedly under the influence of marijuana. He was taken into custody and released to a sober adult. A criminal complaint was filed charging Bradley with DUI and driving on a suspended license.
The next incident happened April 27th in the 500 block of Philadelphia Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a car driven by 22-year-old Isaiah Carter of Ambridge around 2 a.m., but further investigation found he was under the influence of alcohol to a point where he was unsafe to drive. He was taken into custody and later released. Carter was charged with DUI.
The final incident took place May 4th in the 800 block of Philadelphia Street. Officers say they conducted a traffic stop around 2:52 a.m. and found the driver, 20-year-old Braxton Phillips of Seward, under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody and later charged via criminal complaint with DUI-Minors, underage drinking and summary traffic offenses.
