Indiana County school districts are in the heart of budget season and next Tuesday, the United School Board will discuss theirs.
While no agenda was published for that meeting, the board recently discussed the budget for the 2024-25 fiscal year at their work session last week. It comes out to $24,293,133 with a deficit of $514,691. That is expected to be covered using money from the district’s General Fund Balance, resulting in no tax increase for district residents.
The next meeting is at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 in the district boardroom.
