Punxsutawney Hospital Foundation recently received a sizeable donation from an Indiana County bank for the construction of a new Women’s Health Center.
S&T Bank has pledged $250,000 towards the new center, which will provide comprehensive diagnostic and screening support to patients in the community. Part of that includes the addition of innovative equipment to support MRI and CT scanning, X-ray, radiography, and fluoroscopy services in an effort to detect issues early on and providing preventative and proactive care.

Additional projects from the hospital’s capital campaign include a new 9,000 square foot emergency department, expanded laboratory and phlebotomy services, improved imaging services, and a new outpatient entrance.
S&T President Dave Antolik expressed excitement in helping the Punxsutawney Hospital Foundation, saying they “believe the work they are doing is vital to the communities they serve.”
