The Indiana County Office of Planning and Development is setting up a series of meetings across the county to talk about the county’s Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance.
The meetings are designed to share key information about the SALDO with the public and give the public a chance to give their feedback on the plan. It is designed to replace the county’s existing subdivision ordinance that has been in place since 1962 and last amended in 1990. The plan is designed to make sure that all land development regulations and requirements are met, and that all citizens and interested parties are treated equally and fairly. It will also serve as a means to address issues related to the health, safety and welfare of the community.
Four in person meetings are scheduled for the next few weeks. They will be held on November 23rd at Marion Center Park Hall at East Mahoning Township Community Park, November 29th at Yellow Creek State Park’s Environmental Learning Center, November 30th at the Saltsburg Borough Office, and December 1st at the Coral-Graceton Fire Hall. All meetings will start at 6:00 PM.
Four meetings will also be held on Zoom video chat, and they will be December 6th and 7th at 1:30 and 6:00 PM both days.
